Uncensored Voices: Celebrating the Freedom to Read

In recognition of Banned Books Week, join the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District, the ACLU of Nevada and the Vegas Valley Book Festival for the fourth annual installment of Uncensored Voices: Celebrating the Freedom to Read on Thursday, September 26 at 7 p.m. at the Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.

The evening will be a celebration of words, ideas and a call-to-action for anyone who cares about free speech. The program will be moderated by Las Vegas Review-Journal political columnist Steve Sebelius and will feature dramatic readings and a moderated debate.

The Vegas Valley Book Festival, scheduled for October 30 through November 2, 2013, is produced by the city of Las Vegas; Las Vegas-Clark County Library District; UNLV’s Black Mountain Institute; AIGA, Las Vegas Chapter; Las Vegas Review-Journal; Nevada Humanities, a festival Founder and Barnes & Noble.
