The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is partnering with AARP, whose representatives will hold free informational sessions regarding the Affordable Care Act, commonly known as “ObamaCare,” including important dates and resources, how the Affordable Care Act affects individuals and families, and what to do to enroll in a health plan.
Nevada enrollment for health plans begins in October and closes March 2014. To assist those members of the community who are not covered by employer-provided or government-provided (Medicare) healthcare, federally approved Navigators/Enrollment Assisters will be available to guide the public through their various healthcare options.
