Hey teens! Immerse yourself in art this Spring Break! We are offering art workshops for teens 11 to 18 years old at seven library branches throughout the valley on Monday, March 25, Tuesday, March 26, and Wednesday, March 27, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Each day, each branch will offer a hands-on learning experience, from the art of New Zealand Maori native people to Japanese Bamboo traditional water color painting to Tibetan sand mandalas on velour paper to creating figure sculpture from wire.
An exhibition featuring the art created by teens who participate in the Art in Action Teen Art Camps will be on exhibit in April at three library locations. Register now by calling the Youth Services Desk at these participating libraries.
