Book Group Mixer at Centennial Hills Library

Join us for a Book Group Mixer, a pre-festival event of the Vegas Valley Book Festival, at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 6 at the Centennial Hills Library.

Detective Chris Baughman, author of Off the Street, will be appearing for discussion of his book and book signing. A work of nonfiction, it details the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Pandering Investigation Team creation, their first high-level bust and how they became known throughout Las Vegas and the country as an unstoppable force in pandering cases.

The mixer will introduce you to the many facets of Las Vegas’ book groups and give you an opportunity to share your group’s success stories and/or find the perfect group for you. Members of the Centennial Hills Readers Circle and other groups will share thoughts on some of their current favorite titles and authors.

Light refreshments will be served. Free and open to the public. For more information, please call 507-6107.

The Vegas Valley Book Festival is produced by the City of Las Vegas Office of Cultural Affairs; Las Vegas-Clark County Library District; UNLV’s Black Mountain Institute; AIGA, Las Vegas Chapter; Las Vegas Review-Journal; and Nevada Humanities, a festival Founder.
