Library District to Celebrate Teen Tech Week

The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District celebrates Teen Tech Week March 6-12, to bring awareness to the various technologies available at your local library. Teen Tech Week is a national initiative to make teens, educators, parents and other concerned adults aware that libraries are chock-full of tech toys like CDs, DVD, and video games, as well as a great place to get connected to homework help, research resources, music, the web and more.

“Mix & Mash,” this year’s theme, encourages creative expression by combining photos, videos, games, movies, music, and more. Whether it’s with a laptop, social-networking tool, camera, smart phone, or printer—mix and mash technology and creativity to celebrate Teen Tech Week.

For more information on all the free programs, call 734-READ or visit the Library’s web site at http://www.lvccld.org. Highlights include:
