Meet Dan Yaccarino, Critically Acclaimed Author, Writer and Producer

Fans can meet Dan Yaccarino, an internationally-recognized writer and illustrator and creator and producer of the animated television series Oswald, on Thursday, November 4, 10:30 a.m. at the West Charleston Library, 6301 W. Charleston Boulevard, and at 4:30 p.m. at the Centennial Hills Library, 6711 N. Buffalo Road. 

Dan’s work has won many awards including the Parent’s Choice Award and Child Magazine Award. He is the author of Who Will Sing a Lullaby?, Unlovable, Dan Yaccarino’s Mother Goose and I’m Off to the Moon! His latest books include Lawn to Lawn, Little Boy with a Big Horn and The Fantastic Undersea Life of Jacques Cousteau.

His illustrations can be seen in publications such as The New York Times, Business Week and New York Magazine and his internationally recognized art style has earned him a large following in Japan with such clients as Sony and Nikkei, and exhibits in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Rome.

Dan lives with his wife and their two children in New York City and creates his quirky characters in his studio overlooking the Hudson River.
