New York Times bestselling author Vicki Pettersson will discuss her book The Taken, the first in her Celestial Blues series at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, at the Clark County Library. The supernatural noir mystery features fallen angel and former private investigator Griffin Shaw and a feisty, rockabilly reporter Kit Craig, who work together to track down a killer loose on the Vegas strip.
Pettersson is best known for her Zodiac urban fantasy series. She holds a BA in English and is a retired showgirl for Folies Bergere.
A reception and book signing will follow. Books will be available for purchase at the door. Presented in conjunction with Harper Voyager, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers.
