Celebrating Kwanzaa at the West Las Vegas Library

Helping People Get Back to Work with Project EASE
The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District’s CALL program (Computer Assisted Literacy in Libraries) will host a Coffee Chat on Monday, January 24, 2011, at 4 p.m. at the West Las Vegas Library, 951 West Lake Mead Boulevard, to introduce local residents to Project EASE (Educational Assistance to Support Employability). Potential students will have the opportunity to ask questions, review the teaching materials, meet other students as well as the people who will help them accomplish their educational or employment goals. Holiday Closures
All District branches will be closed on Friday, December 24 and Saturday, December 25 in honor of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Branches will be closing at 5 p.m. on Friday, December 31 for New Year’s Eve. All branches will be closed on Saturday, January 1 in honor of New Year’s Day.
January is Mob Month at the Library District
The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is hosting a series of events related to the Mob every Tuesday in January at 7 p.m. at the Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road. (more…)
